Crime and disorder

Wherever you live in West Sussex there are people and organisations working to make it a safe place for you.

Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships (CDRPs) work together to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in your local area. These partnerships include agencies such as:

  • Sussex Police
  • West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service
  • West Sussex County Council
  • Your local district or borough council
  • NHS West Sussex
  • Drug and Alcohol Action Teams

Information on your local CDRP can be found through the County Council's Community Safety Unit.

  • What anti-social behaviour is, its consequences and how to report it.
  • Hints and tips on staying safe if you are out at night.
  • How to help keep public spaces clean and free of graffiti and details of how to get involved in schemes to help shape open spaces within your local community.
