What is it?

Horsham Connexions TeamHorsham Connexions Centre for Young People is a new drop in centre for young people aged 13 to 25.

Horsham Connexions Centre for Young People brings together The Information Shop, Connexions and Sussex Central YMCA under 1 roof.

We are friendly, informal but professional and happy to support any young person aged 13 to 25.

Our friendly staff team offer a wide range of services, including specialist careers, training and employment advice for young people.

Information advice guidance and support on various issues such as housing and homelessness, legal rights, benefits, debt, health, family and relationships, education, finding work, including CV preparation, form filling and much more.

We offer a comprehensive sexual health service, including pregnancy testing, free condoms, C-Card registration, chlamydia testing and treatment, contraceptive advice, injections and pills, termination referrals and advice. 

We act as referring agents for Connexions Intensive Support Personal Advisers, local housing schemes and support teams, drugs counselling, advocacy services and many others.

You may just want to talk through a tricky situation with a worker or feel you need more formal support through our counselling service. Counselling service offering short and long term counselling.

For most of our services you don’t need to book an appointment. All of our services are free. Use of phone, computers and internet

We are having an open session every Tuesday 3.30pm to 4.30pm we would especially like to meet you if you are 13 to 16 years old.

This is a chance for you to come along and meet the staff and find out what services you can get at our Information Shop and Connexions Centre.

Opening times from 3 January 2012

Monday - Friday 9.30am to 1.00pm - limited service is available at the Centre.
(Use of public access computers, leaflets and condoms with a c-card)
Monday - Friday 1.00pm to 5.00pm - full Connexions Centre facilities available.
Tuesday - Open session - 3.30pm to 4.30pm.

MeditationMeditation Monday ages 16 to 25 years old

Starts from 23 April at 11.30am in the Springfield Room at the Y Centre.

An hour to yourself to relax mind and body. Chill out and set yourself up for the week ahead.
