Hub clinics

Hub clinics are run by the Western Sussex Hospital Trust and include:Clinic

  • Sexually transmitted infection diagnosis and treatment (including Chlamydia).
  • HIV diagnosis.
  • General contraception including Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) methods by appointment.
  • Emergency contraception.
  • Pregnancy testing.
  • Refferal to Termination of Pregnancy (ToP) services.
  • Psychosexual counselling by appointment.
  • Sexual health advice.
  • Free condoms.

Walk-in and appointment clinics are Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 7.00pm and Saturday mornings.

Spoke Clinics

Spoke clinics are run by the Western Sussex Hospital Trust and include:

  • Chlamydia screening and treatment.
  • Pregnancy testing.
  • Access to Termination of Pregnancy (ToP) services.
  • General contraception including Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) methods by appointment.
  • Emergency contraception.
  • Sexual health advice.
  • Free condoms.

Outreach clinics

Outreach clinics are where a nurse from the Western Sussex Hospital Trust go into a centre for a couple of hours a week and include:

  • Contraception and advice.
  • Emergency Hormonal Contraception.
  • Chlamydia screening.
  • Pregnancy testing anf referral.
  • Sexual health advice.
  • Free condoms.

Psychosexual Counselling

Psychosexual therapy for a range of sexual issues such as:

  • Difficulties with erection, ejaculation, orgasm, desire etc.
  • Sexual trauma or pain.
  • Sexual functioning and ill health, disability etc.

Referrals are from health professionals, e.g. GPs, nurses, health advisors, other doctors.
