Overview and Content:
- Young people undertake full self assessment and have ownership
of their learning plan and distance travelled. Distanced travelled
is recorded by pre / post holistic assessment wheel tool which
focuses on and scores the levels of risk of offending and
identifies levels of need in other areas.
- Young people’s outstanding needs are identified at the end of
the programme and where relevant signposting / referral to other
agencies is undertaken by course leaders.
- ASDAN accreditation.
- Young people contribute to programme development by engaging in
evaluation activities at the end of each session.
- Young people have not (re) offended at points of follow up, 3
& 6 months.
Intended Outcomes /
Qualifications:
- ASDAN accreditation.
- TYS request for service form. This is a targeted program and
the main route through which young people will be referred is from
the Prevention Team within the Youth Offending Service who work
directly with the police. We can however extend a number of places
to external referrers.
